FEAR a poem by Yiwei

"I make you jump

and make you scream.

I like to pop out and

scare you.

I live in the shadows.

I make loud noises

and creepy sounds.

I can suddenly pop out.

I will make you tremble.

I can give you goosebumps.

I will give you many phobias.

I will breathe on your neck.

I am your least favourite horror character.

I am your worst nightmare and...

I am Fear"

SUMMERTIME an acrostic poem by Jason

"Sun shines bright and the flowers emerge from the great garden of sprouting heat.

Under the big trees we find cool, relaxing shade to hide from the sun.

Munching on ice-cream and the lovely smell of chocolate, melting on the palm of my hand.

Minutes and hours go by and no sight of the sunset we lay there, sweating on the sandy floor.

Excited children run across the sand, playing happily in the water to cool them off.

Rising slowly from the distance is the moon, the one to save us from the heat.

Time goes by as it gets darker and darker every minute and second.

Ice-cream drops on the floor beginning to melt and wave goodbye.

My time has come to end as the sun and the tides get lower and lower.

Excitement has faded away, but new excitement is coming the very next day."
